Leucadendron galpinii Purple Haze is a striking evergreen shrub prized for its dramatic foliage colour and architectural form. During winter, the plant develops deep purple tones through its foliage, beautifully contrasted by silver-grey highlights that create a shimmering effect in the garden. In late spring to summer, attractive silver cones appear, adding further visual interest and making the plant highly desirable for floral arrangements and cut flowers. This smaller-growing leucadendron makes an excellent feature plant, with its unusual purple-tinted foliage providing a bold contrast among green shrubs and perennials. It works well in garden beds, coastal gardens, and low-maintenance landscapes, and also performs beautifully in large pots or containers where its colour and form can be showcased.

Soil: Well-drained, native soil.
Conditions: Full sun position. Light frost and drought tolerant once established.

Syzygium Big Red is a dense lilly pilly with large, glossy leaves with gorgeous dark crimson new growth which contrasts beautifully with the mature green leaves. White summer flowers are followed by edible fruit. A great feature, screen, hedge or topiary plant that can be grown in large pots. Big Red responds very well to pruning making it an excellent plant for hedging and screening in residential situations. Mulch well to keep down weeds and conserve soil moisture.

Lavander Sensation White is an attractive form of French lavender, with an upright and bushy habit. It displays fragrant soft grey-blue flowers with clear white wings that are held above soft grey aromatic foliage. Lavender is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a hedge, or maintained in a container. A mass planting of Sensation White lavender - either as a groundcover or on a bank - will give a dramatic display.
