Callistemon subulatus Brogo Overflow is a very attractive and compact shrub that hugs the ground displaying its beautiful, brilliant red bottlebrush blooms from late winter through summer. It grows well alongside pathways or as a low edge to shrubberies or borders and can also make an excellent large tub plant on patios. While it is naturally compact, pruning after flowering will encourage a neater plant.

Soil: Well-drained soil with plenty of added humus is preferred.

Callistemon sieberi Crimson is a striking and easy-to-grow native, prized for its profusion of vivid crimson bottlebrush flowers.
