Producing an excellent crop of full-sized fruit, Dwarf Ruby Blood Plum delivers medium to large rounded blood plums with dark red skin and deep red, sweet juicy flesh. A freestone variety, the delicious fruit is suitable for use fresh, dried and will make a lovely jam. Like most plums, Ruby Blood needs a cross-pollinator growing nearby; Narrabeen, Mariposa or Satsuma are suitable. Grafted onto dwarfing rootstock, our Dwarf Plums will grow in a much smaller space, making them ideal for patio tubs. Like all produce plants, correct pruning, regular fertilising and watering will result in an abundance of fruit.

Philotheca Profusion is a showy, compact native shrub grown for its profuse floral display. The upright shrub bears buds of apple-blossom pink which open to starry white flowers and appear over winter-spring. The thick, leathery leaves have a wonderful apple-like fragrance when crushed. Profusion is an excellent feature specimen plant and the flowers help create excellent floral arrangements.

Hardy and versatile, Syzygium Cascade is a large native shrub that produces a stunning display of pink ‘fluffy’ flowers during the summer months. Mid-sized, glossy apple green leaves begin as attractive red and pink new growth that is apparent throughout most of the year. Pink pom-pom flowers precede small fuschia pink berry-like fruits that delight the eye and are highly prized by the native bird life. The fruits are astringent and although not sought after for eating, are used for jams and chutneys. Visits from bees, butterflies, and nectar-feeding birds will be your reward for including this one in your garden.

Mary Antoinette is a stunning dwarf evergreen shrub with a neat, round appearance. It begins flowering in late winter and continues to display beautiful flowers through spring and summer. The flowers start as cerise and fade to white, creating a lovely contrast with the burgundy new growth tips. For optimal results, use a long-term slow-release fertilizer in late winter and lightly prune after flowering.

Soil: Moist, free-draining soil.
Conditions: Adaptable to both sun and shade. It can tolerate light overnight frost, salt spray, and some humidity, but cannot withstand hot tropical climates.

A magnificent small flowering tree, Magnolia soulangeana is commonly known as the Saucer Magnolia. Several differing varieties of this superb, deciduous tree are available - many newer cultivars are naturally shorter than the projected 5-9m. Soulangeana develops a naturally bushy habit, so plant a few different varieties to create a low hedge of stunning spring colour.

Lomandra Lime Wave is a soft, dense, weeping plant with bright lime foliage and vibrant yellow flowers, displayed along fine stems in spring and summer. This specimen will add a delicate, almost whimsical feel to any garden or landscape. Lomandra Lime Wave requires little to no maintenance. Trim spent flower stems and feed with low phosphorous native fertiliser early spring or late summer. Lime Wave is ideal for patio pots, rockeries, borders, paths and retaining walls.
