Banksia Honey Pots is an attractive, native dwarf shrub producing long slender golden cylindrical flowers from autumn to spring, with a glorious fragrance of honey. The native flowers attract birds, bees and butterflies to the garden. Plant Honey Pots in coastal gardens, wildlife gardens, rockeries, and pots and containers. Prune as required after flowering to maintain dense growth. Feed with a slow-release native fertiliser during spring

Soil: Light, well-drained soil. Suits acid to mildly alkaline soils.
Conditions: Sunny position. Light frost, salt and coastal tolerant

Callistemon Taree Pink is an easy-care native with a compact habit, fresh lime-green foliage and spectacular, brilliant pink bottle-brush flowers. Flowers appear year-round with a heavy flush during spring. Like most callistemon, they attract nectar-feeding birds and insects to your garden. Prune after flowering to promote another flush of colour and feed with a slow-release native fertiliser yearly.

Soil: Moist, well-drained soils are best.
Conditions: Choose a sunny location though a little shade throughout the day will be well tolerated - too much shade will encourage it to become sparse and rangy. Drought, frost and coastal tolerant.

A popular Australian native, Scaevola White Carpet puts on a terrific flower show from spring to autumn. The long-lived, spreading ground cover has a thick carpet of tight, mid-green foliage with clusters of fan-shaped, white flowers. It looks incredible planted around the house in hanging baskets or as a ground cover where landscapes need a pop of colour. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a tidy appearance, and feed with a slow-release native fertiliser in spring.
