Syzygium australe Up and Away is an attractive, cultivated variety prized for its elegant, upright form and refined foliage. This versatile lilly pilly, native to eastern Australia, features lush green leaves complemented by clusters of white flowers that appear in the warmer months. These are followed by dark pink, edible fruits that add seasonal interest. Its naturally narrow, vertical habit makes Up and Away an excellent choice for creating height in the landscape, whether used as a standalone feature or clipped into a tidy hedge. For optimal performance, apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to encourage fresh growth and overall plant vigour.
