The ancient fig tree produces a very sweet fruit growing to 2cm in diameter that can be eaten fresh, dried or cooked. Sandpaper Fig is generally a hardy species and adapts well to a wide range of habitats. It attracts birds, bees, insects and lizards making it a great addition to the garden.

Conditions: Prefers full-sun and is suitable to part-shade. Protect from frosts. Can tolerate drought.
