Elaeocarpus reticulatus Pink Form

Elaeocarpus reiculatus Pink Form is a wondrous native rainforest tree. It has masses of delicately fringed small pale pink flowers in spring which look like fairy petticoats. The sweetly scented blossoms turn into blueberries attracting seed-eating birds to the garden. A very adaptable, fast-growing and hardy plant, elaeocarpus is ideal for large hedges, screening plants and avenue planting or as a stand-alone ornamental tree.

Soil: Plant in free-draining soil rich in organic matter and not over-wet.
Conditions: Sunny position is ideal in warmer parts of Australia and in protected frost-free areas in cooler climates.
