It is a hardy, long-living shrub with rich dense foliage that can grow into a small tree. It looks great in a feature pot and makes a wonderful hedge or espalier against a wall. Jennifer Susan is excellent as a specimen plant due to the abundance of large and showy flowers. Prune after flowering to promote dense growth and prolific flowering in the following season.
Soil: Well-drained, slightly acidic soil. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal when added at the time of planting.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Drought, frost and coastal tolerant.
