Dainty cream flowers are produced in spring, attracting birds and beneficial insects. Pencil Red is a fantastic shrub for hedging, borders, topiary and screening. The naturally dense compact growth habit means pruning is not required unless a certain size or shape is wanted.
Soil: Grows well in most soils.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Pencil Red are hardy against drought, salty air and not prone to disease. Frost tolerant once established.
