Conditions: Sunny or partly shaded position with morning or afternoon sun. It can be grown throughout Australia and is tolerant of both heat and light frost, but may need protection in extreme situations, especially when young. Shelter from strong winds.

Prunus Dwarf Apricot Fireball is a compact, early maturing apricot variety suited to most temperate regions of Australia. Grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock, it forms a small, manageable tree ideal for backyards and smaller gardens while still producing full-sized fruit. The apricots are round with deep orange skin and sweet, juicy flesh that easily separates from the stone, making them a classic freestone variety. Harvest typically occurs in late November, providing an early crop of delicious fruit perfect for fresh eating. Syringa Cora Brandt is a beautiful upright deciduous shrub, prized for its abundance of exquisitely fragrant blooms. Inga edulis, commonly known as Ice Cream Bean, is a fast-growing evergreen tree native to South America. It forms a broad and dense spreading canopy with broad, leathery, dark green leaves. The edible long pod fruits have sweet white, translucent, jelly-like pulp that tastes like ice cream - hence the name. The plant is also planted as shade tree in coffee and cacao plantations. The wood, moderately hard and very durable, is used for making packing cases and piles.

Soil: Flourishes in soils of all types within an extended pH range of 4-8. It can handle some waterlogging.
Conditions: Full sun.

Orange Cara Cara is a neat compact evergreen fruit tree with lovely rich green foliage which holds its colour all year round. Petite white fragrant blooms appear in mid to late May. Following the blooms, medium-large rounded oranges with thin skin develop. The sweet, juicy, flesh blushes in colouring from deep pink to red. The fruit is seedless and beautifully tender, easy to peel and exquisitely delicious, with rich orange flavours and notes of raspberries and rose petals. They are commonly used for juicing and for snacking on raw, as well as in fruit salads, green salads, desserts, and sauces.

Conditions: Full sun. Tolerant of a wide range of conditions it will prefer a frost and wind-free position in the garden.

The glorious Camellia japonica Emperor of Russia produces a rich display of dense foliage and extremely large, double, brilliant scarlet flowers with golden stamens amongst twisted, inner petals. A slow-growing, upright evergreen shrub, with a bushy habit, Emperor of Russia is a hardy, long-living plant. Ideal container plant when potted into large pots and tubs, and suitable for screens, hedges and specimen planting.

Conditions: Partial shade. Sheltered position. Cold tolerant.
