Malus Japanese Crab Apple is an outstanding ornamental tree that provides outstanding floral display in spring. Mildly fragrant, single flowers are borne in abundant clusters from mid-spring. The reddish-pink outer of the petals fades to pink and the inside of the petals fades to white. The yellow stamens are prominent and add to the multi-coloured effect. An attractive focal point for gardens and parks where there is space for the tree to attain its natural form.

Soil: Prefers well-drained organic-rich soils
Conditions: Part shade position. Suitable for colder climate gardens and should cope with frosts and light snow.

Juniperus procumbens Nana is a low-spreading, attractive conifer with blue/green foliage on long, stiff, mat-forming branches. The aromatic, fine needled foliage has very pointed tips and a yellow hue. It's a very hardy shrub, and perfect as a spillover or trailing over rocks, but it does not grow quickly. A versatile ground cover, Nana looks brilliant mass-planted, as thrives as an understorey plant. A perfect plant for bonsai!

Hedera helix Camouflage Ivy is a vigorous evergreen self-clinging climber with wonderfully random patterning in bright white over deep green. When mature plants climb up a support and become tree-like, the leaves turn diamond-shaped and the plant will bear black berries in winter. To prevent unwanted garden escape, dispose of trimmings and keep Camouflage Ivy contained in a pot. As Ivy is such a hardy and vigorous grower, it is also ideal to use as ground cover or to cover walls and trellis. It is a superlative plant for wildlife - a fantastic shelter plant for birds and a food plant for insects. Feed with a controlled release yearly during spring and follow up with liquid fertiliser monthly during summer.

Cheals Weeping Cherry makes a perfect feature tree due to its striking short stature. These glorious diminutive weeping cherries are perfectly suited for small spaces and container planting. Kalamata is one of the most popular varieties of table olive. The well-rounded tree has dark glossy green leaves with silver-grey undersides, and the trunks are irregularly shaped and an attractive grey. Green olives are picked before ripening occurs, whilst black ones are harvested once the olive fruit is fully mature and at maximum ripeness. All olives are cured by fermentation to remove their bitterness. The kalamata olive tree looks spectacular as a feature specimen, lining an avenue and thrives in pots on balconies, patios and verandahs.
