Escallonia macrantha Pink Pixie

Tiny glossy leaves, red stems, and a vibrant display of petite, red-pink bell-shaped flowers adorn Pink Pixie in late spring to late summer. Escallonia macrantha Pink Pixie is an excellent new dwarf, evergreen compact shrub ideal for seaside gardens, rooftop gardens, containers, and planters. Prune after flowering to encourage new growth and flowering. Feed with a controlled-release fertiliser twice yearly.

Soil: Plant in free-draining soil rich in organic matter. Mulch and water well until established.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Drought, coastal and frost tolerant. Prefers dry rather than humid conditions.
