Caroline Blueberry is a Northern Highbush Blueberry - a deciduous, fruiting plant that is native to the colder areas of Canada & the United States. These varieties of blueberry plants perform well in Australia and provide a bounty of berries. Caroline is an early fruiting blueberry producing medium-sized, fragrant fruits with a beautiful sweet taste. It is a deciduous shrub with oval leaves, producing pretty bell-shaped white flowers in spring, followed by small blue-purple berries in summer. The leaves of Caroline take on attractive red-orange tones in autumn. Self-pollinating, but cross-pollination with another type with the same bloom time produces higher yields. Blueberries can produce an abundance of fruit over many months, keep them evenly watered with good drainage and use a low nitrogen fertiliser.

Soil: Well-drained acidic soil.
Conditions: It grows best in a sunny but protected position with some shade from the hottest afternoon sun during summer. Approximately 750-1200 hours chilling required for proper dormancy.

Vaccinium Brightwell Blueberry is a vigorous and adaptable Rabbiteye variety that produces abundant clusters of sweet, medium-sized fruit. Delicate white flowers appear in late spring to early summer, followed by a generous harvest of blueberries by mid to late summer. The foliage is lush green through the warmer months, transforming into a fiery red display in autumn. Ideal for gardens or container growing, this attractive shrub brings both beauty and productivity to any outdoor space — perfect for patios, decks, or small gardens. Prune in late winter or early spring to remove old or crossed branches and to encourage healthy new growth. Brightwell Blueberry requires cross-pollination for best fruiting, so plant it with another Rabbiteye variety such as ‘Powder Blue’.

Soil: Provide moist, well-drained soil with high organic content and an acidic pH
Conditions: Full sun. This rabbiteye blueberry variety is cold-hardy, making it a good choice in areas with chilly winter weather. This cultivar is also heat and drought-tolerant, thriving in areas with intense summer weather.

Featuring a naturally rounded compact shape, delicate white flowers in spring, and foliage darkening to red in autumn, Northland Blueberry adds colour and interest to your edible garden for many months. This variety produces a dark fleshed fruit with a wild-berry flavour that becomes sweeter the longer it hangs on the bush. This variety is self-fertile so another plant nearby is not required, making it perfect for smaller gardens. However a higher yield will be produced if another plant is growing nearby (Blue Rose Blueberry is recommended). Northland will make a wonderful patio or verandah plant where the delicious berries can be enjoyed straight off the bush.

Soil: Requires a well-drained, acidic soil to grow well. A potting mix for Azaleas and Rhododendrons is recommended for pot culture.
Conditions: Prefers a full sun to part shade position. Frost tolerant.

The Manchurian Pear is a popular and highly adaptable tree, widely grown across Australia for its year-round ornamental appeal. In spring, it bursts into life with masses of delicate white blossoms, creating a stunning seasonal display. As the seasons progress, the tree develops lush, glossy green foliage. The oval leaves, edged with fine serrations, provide dense summer shade before transforming dramatically in autumn. At this time, the canopy turns a rich, deep red, delivering a striking display of colour. Following the spring bloom, small fruits appear. While generally not enjoyed by humans, they are a valuable food source for birds and other wildlife. Versatile and reliable, the Manchurian Pear is ideal as an ornamental feature, shade tree, specimen planting, or for use in avenues, farms, and streetscapes.

Soil: Well-drained soil. Water in well and keep the soil moist until the tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune the tree when planting to encourage new growth.

The Trixzie White Cherree Miniature Cherry features light pink flesh that is firm and deliciously juicy. These vibrant trees have gorgeous white blossoms in spring that give way to round/ heart-shaped, blush-coloured cherries ready for picking in summer. The self-fertile, miniature variety has been developed for the smaller garden and is perfect for pots, patios and courtyards. Like all produce plants, correct pruning, regular fertilising and watering will result in an abundance of fruit. Trixzie White Cherree will require annual pruning in winter, as this will encourage a stronger branching framework, airflow through the canopy and better fruit quality.
