Arnold Blood Orange is a brilliant small, bushy, evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves. The fruit tree produces fragrant creamy-white flowers followed by a small to medium-sized round, blood-red fruit with dark-red pigmented flesh. The characteristic colour is developed best in cooler inland areas where the temperatures are cooler at night. Blood oranges have an unusual distinctly strawberry-like flavour with hints of a citrus tang. Perfect for desserts, juicing, preserves or on its own as a healthy snack.
