Wades Golden Birch is a glowing, pyramidal-shaped deciduous tree with new golden foliage in the winter, later turning light green and then back to yellow-gold in autumn. Its most appealing feature is the bright orange stems which stand out in the winter against the classic stark white of the bark. A hardy tree well suited to smaller gardens, and a fantabulous tree for avenue planting! Prune the tree when planting to encourage growth.

Soil: Well-drained and well-mulched soil. Keep moist until the tree is established.

Gleditsia Sunburst is a fast-growing, thornless variety prized for its broad, spreading canopy and soft, gently weeping form. Brilliant golden-yellow new foliage brightens the garden in spring, softening to a fresh lime green over summer before glowing gold again in autumn. Small white flowers appear in spring, adding a delicate seasonal highlight.
Its fine, fern-like leaves are neatly arranged along slender stems, creating a beautiful dappled shade that allows lawn and underplanting to thrive beneath. A standout choice as a feature tree, especially where filtered light, graceful form and year-round foliage colour are desired.

Sweet Cheeks Dwarf is a small apple on a compact tree! The red-blushed yellow fruit is sweet and crisp and is fully grown at 7.5cm diameter - an ideal size for kids' lunchboxes or a handy snack. Fruit can be picked from as early as March when the little apples are fully grown. Due to Sweet Cheeks' dwarf size, it is ideal for container planting, small spaces and easy harvesting. Sweet Cheeks Apple needs a pollinator apple tree nearby to produce fruit - we recommend Granny Smith and Bite Size.

One of the smallest and latest flowering magnolias, Magnolia Royal Star is a charming, slow-growing deciduous shrub with a naturally spreading, rounded habit. New foliage emerges with a soft bronze tint, maturing to a deep, glossy green before turning warm shades of yellow to copper in autumn. In early spring, masses of fragrant, star-shaped white flowers—around 10 cm across—burst from furry grey buds, creating a striking display on bare branches. Ideal for informal hedging, woodland-style plantings, courtyards, and patio gardens, Royal Star is perfectly suited to smaller spaces. Prune lightly at planting to encourage bushier, vigorous new growth.

Soil: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. 
Conditions: Prefers full sun but will tolerate a partially shady location. Shelter from wind to protect flowers.
