The Cumulus™ Columnar Apple is perfect for gardeners wanting to enjoy fresh, homegrown apples in even the smallest spaces. Bred to grow in a naturally upright, narrow form, this compact apple tree is ideal for pots, containers, balconies, courtyards, and narrow garden beds. Cumulus produces attractive, medium-sized round apples with bright red flush and creamy white flesh. The fruit ripens from February to March, delivering crisp, sweet apples that are excellent for fresh eating straight from the tree. It grows well both in the ground and in large pots, allowing you to enjoy productive apple harvests even in limited spaces. For best fruit set, plant with compatible pollinators such as Harmony, Herald™, or Pompink™.
Soil: Well-drained soil.
Conditions: Requires a full sun to part shade position. Protect from high winds and frosts while young.
Size: Height 3m x width 0.6m
Sweet Cheeks Dwarf is a small apple on a compact tree! The red-blushed yellow fruit is sweet and crisp and is fully grown at 7.5cm diameter - an ideal size for kids' lunchboxes or a handy snack. Fruit can be picked from as early as March when the little apples are fully grown. Due to Sweet Cheeks' dwarf size, it is ideal for container planting, small spaces and easy harvesting. Sweet Cheeks Apple needs a pollinator apple tree nearby to produce fruit - we recommend Granny Smith and Bite Size.
Soil: Well-drained soil.
Conditions: Plant in full sun to part shade. This variety is great for cool climate areas.
Size: Height 2-2.5m x width 2-4m
Delight in the delectable taste of the Gala Dwarf apple - a top choice for any garden! This variety boasts bright red skin on sun-exposed areas, contrasting beautifully with a yellow-green background. The creamy-white flesh is firm, crisp, and juicy, providing an excellent sweet flavour that makes it a favourite for fresh eating. Maturing early to mid-season, the Gala Dwarf apple offers a reliable and bountiful harvest, perfect for those looking to enjoy homegrown apples without the need for a large space. Although Gala Dwarf is self-pollinating, the fruiting will be improved with a cross- pollinator like Cripps Pink.
Soil: Prefers well-drained, fertile soil.
Conditions: Thrives in full sun. Frost-tolerant. Regular watering is essential, especially during dry periods.
