The Bush Dance kangaroo paw looks sensational with its colour blend of bright red and shimmering emerald green flowers on slim red stems. The flowers are a perfect contrast against the soft grey-green foliage. Along with the classic traffic-light red-emerald flower, Bush Dance has a compact size, heaps of blooms, and flowers much later than other kangaroo paws to give an extended season of colour. Bush Dance is also very happily planted in a pot.

Acacia boormanii, or the Snowy River Wattle, is an attractive ornamental shrub with dense foliage and a rounded habit. In late winter and spring the scented yellow flower balls make a wonderful display among the dense soft foliage. The acacia is an excellent windbreak or screen and is popular for large gardens and public areas.

Baby Citro™ Corymbia is a grafted compact form of the beautiful Lemon Scented Gum with a white trunk, fragrant foliage and dense growth habit. Baby Citro is a broad evergreen tree with long, fragrant leaves that hang pendulously from arched branches. In summer, small, white flowers are displayed in clusters adding to the visual appeal. Acer palmatum Bloodgood has been grown in Australia for many years, proving its reliability and garden performance. Over time, it develops a broad, spreading crown, making it an excellent feature tree for a wide range of landscapes. The deeply lobed, serrated foliage emerges a rich plum-purple, holding its colour well through summer before transforming into vivid crimson tones in autumn. Ideal as a deciduous shade tree, it performs beautifully in gardens, parks, and as a background feature in mixed borders. Like other Japanese maples, it has fine, delicate foliage and a naturally elegant form. One of the most renowned Japanese maple cultivars, Bloodgood is valued for its striking colour, toughness, and adaptability.

Soil: Prefers fertile, well-drained soil. 

Conditions: Full sun to filtered shade. Avoid a location that is unprotected from north or west afternoon sun, or hot winds in summer.

Dryopteris erthrosora Autumn Fern is a cold hardy fern much valued for its fresh foliage colour and for creating texture, colour and habit contrast in the garden. Its appeal lies with its glorious foliage - long, erect, triangular fronds emerge a copper/red colour, and eventually age to glossy green. This variety is one of the best species for mass planting in moist areas. Remove spent fronds to keep neat and ensure adequate water - watering the trunk slowly is always best.

Soil: A rich, reliably moist soil is preferred.
Conditions: It will withstand most locations from mostly shaded to full sun, though it prefers half and half.

Grevillea Honey Barbara is a stunning shrub with honey-orange flowers that are tipped with yellow. It blooms all year round on a relatively compact shrub and attracts nectar-feeding birds to your garden. You can use it as a screen as it has lush foliage that reaches the ground, providing a beautiful wall of fluorescent blooms. After each major flush of blooms, make sure to trim it back lightly behind the spent flower heads and feed it with an Australian native fertiliser.

Soil: Tolerates loam, clay and sand as long as it is well-drained.
Conditions: Full or partial sun. Drought, light frost tolerant.
