Buckinghamia celsissima, or the Ivory Curl Tree, is an ornamental native tree with dark glossy leaves. An abundance of racemes of creamy white, sweetly scented saccate flowers clustered at the ends of the branches appear in autumn. It makes a stunning feature plant, suited to street planting and large gardens. Prune as desired to promote dense growth and flowering. Fertilise with a slow-release native fertiliser in spring.

Soil: Moist well-drained soils with added organic matter.
Conditions: Full sun to semi-shade. Originally from the tropical rainforests of eastern Queensland they are surprisingly adaptable and will grow in areas with light frosts, provided they are in a sheltered position.

Peaches and Cream is a spreading, medium-sized grevillea that will grace the garden with an outstanding floral performance. It has subtle multi-coloured flowers that bloom throughout spring, summer and autumn. Flowers are soft yellow at first, but gradually gain pink and orange colouring with age. Deeply-dissected bright green leaves add bronze highlights in the winter. Peaches and Cream is a stunning feature shrub or screen plant.

Conditions: Prefers full sun or part shade conditions, drought, humidity, coast tolerance, and frost tolerance to -3C.

Westringia fruticosa Jervis Gem is a compact form of the popular ‘Wynyabbie Gem’, prized for its neat habit and versatility as a screening or hedging shrub. Masses of soft lilac-blue flowers appear for most of the year, beautifully offset by velvety silver-grey-green foliage that adds texture and brightness to the landscape. This hardy native rosemary thrives in coastal, rooftop, and exposed positions, tolerating wind, salt, and dry conditions with ease. It responds well to pruning for a crisp, formal hedge, yet is equally attractive when left to grow naturally in a relaxed, informal style.

Shiro Noda Japanese Wisteria is an exquisite, flowering climber with drooping racemes up to 60cm in length. Deliciously scented, pure white blooms hang in pendulous clusters providing a striking waterfall of colour and drama. The popular deciduous climber with dark green, pinnate leaves is widely used to cover pergolas, ramble over trellis, train as a standard or trail over retaining walls.
