Telopea monganensis x speciosissima Enchanted Flame

Telopea Enchanted Flame brings a magical touch to the garden with its phenomenal blooms. Dramatic large red waratahs contrast beautifully against dark green, leathery leaves in spring. The flowers attract native birds and bees to the garden and provide a haven. Once the blooms have finished, prune the plant back 10cm as this will encourage healthy new growth. The flowers are popular in floral arrangements due to their long straight stems and the uniformity of their flower heads.

Soil: Well-drained, acidic soil.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Shelter from the hot afternoon sun. Drought and frost tolerant.
