Prunus persica Anzac Peach

The Anzac Peach is a large, upright deciduous fruiting tree well suited to home orchards and spacious gardens. It produces slender, deep-green foliage and an abundant crop of white-fleshed peaches with attractive ruby-red skin. The fruit is known for its exceptionally sweet flavour and typically ripens from around mid-January, making it a rewarding mid-summer harvest. This variety is self-fertile, meaning it does not require another peach tree nearby to produce fruit. Like most stone fruit trees in the Prunus genus, the Anzac Peach benefits from annual pruning during winter after the leaves have dropped. Regular pruning encourages stronger branching, improves airflow through the canopy, and helps produce larger, better-quality fruit. With the right care, it becomes an excellent choice for large gardens, backyard orchards, or as a productive ornamental tree.
