Gaillardia x grandiflora Mesa Red

Also known as Blanket Flower because the bright flowers are reminiscent of Native American blankets, Gaillardia Mesa Red is an extremely easy-to-grow perennial that features warm red daisy-like flowers. The soft red flowers smother this tough and hardy ground cover for most of the warmer months. Mesa Red is ideal for borders, massed displays or in beautifully bright pots. For an extra long flowering season, remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser.

Soil: Well-drained soil.
Conditions: Full sun. Drought, salt, wind and frost tolerant.
