Cupaniopsis anacardioides, commonly known as Tuckeroo, is a fast-growing Australian native tree valued for its dense shade and attractive, glossy green foliage. It forms a rounded, spreading canopy that makes it an excellent shade tree for streets, parks and home gardens. Small greenish-white flowers appear in spring and are followed in summer by decorative orange seed pods that split open to reveal bright seeds, adding seasonal interest and attracting birds.
