An evergreen tree with deep-green, rounded foliage and thorny stems, D'Emerald is a cultivar in the Citrus Gems range - grafted to make the plants hardier. White flowers appear in summer, followed by aromatic, finger-shaped black fruits. D'Emerald will begin to ripen - but not fully - on the tree. Once picked, leave the fruit for five to ten days to completely ripen to produce bright, emerald green pearls of tangy juice. D'Emerald has a dense and bushy habit, making it perfect for creating hedges or screens in the garden. Please note: finger lime trees will begin to produce fruit from the second autumn of planting.
