Chrysocephalum apiculatum Desert Flame

Chrysocephalum Desert Flame PBR is an evergreen ground cover with beautiful silvery grey foliage and a blaze of golden yellow button flowers throughout the year. The native perennial feature stems that lie flat along the ground with flower-bearing tips turning upwards. Ideal as a border plant and an eye-catching container and hanging basket specimen. If planted above a retaining wall, it will spill down the wall bearing masses of small golden yellow heads that contrast with the silver leaves.

Soil: Well-drained soil.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Drought, heat, coastal and wet tolerant.
