Camellia japonica Janet Waterhouse is a vigorous, upright, evergreen shrub/tree with glossy, dark green leaves and, in spring, semi-double flowers of the purest white with lovely rich golden stamens appear en masse. In the first stage of blooming, the flower displays a large central cone, which later opens and folds back and overlaps the petals. It has a strong, upright and bushy habit and the elegant height makes Janet Waterhouse a particularly recommended variety.
