Arthropodium cirratum Matapouri Bay

Matapouri Bay, also known as New Zealand Rock Lily, is a clumping perennial plant with attractive blue-green arching foliage. Large, elegant sprays of white stars flowers are borne prolifically and long on arching stems over summer. The dense foliage acts as a ground cover, preventing weed growth under the plant. Matapouri Bay is ideal for use as a border plant, under-planting as well as potted colour. Feed with a controlled-release fertiliser after flowering for best results, and trim yearly before new growth appears.

Soil: Tolerates most soil types. Mulch and water well.
Conditions: Full sun to full shade position. Coastal, wind, drought and frost tolerant.
