Protea 'Stately'

Protea Stately is a beautiful small tree that reveals magnificent deep pink winter blooms. The protea flowers from autumn to spring providing a stunning splash of colour to the garden during the colder months and supply food for birds and bees. Stately is ideal for cut flowers, used as a hedging plant and attracting native birds to the garden. Ensure a native potting mix and fertiliser are used if growing in pots, and select a container with drainage holes as these plants do not like to be waterlogged.

Soil: Well-drained soil. If you have clay soils, use mounds to facilitate drainage.
Conditions: Full sun. Drought, frost and coastal tolerant
