Damperia Mat Blue is a stunning dwarf and resilient Australian groundcover. It presents an abundant showcase of delicate blue flowers above its green foliage. This adaptable species flowers sporadically in autumn and heavily in late winter and spring. Native bees and butterflies are drawn to its charm, making frequent visits during the flowering period. Mat Blue is visually appealing as a border among other small groundcovers and shrubs or serves as an excellent potted specimen using a high-quality Australian native potting mix.

Ophiopogon Nigrescens, or Black Mondo Grass, presents a captivating addition to any garden with its tufts of sleek, grass-like foliage in a striking purplish-black hue, creating a dramatic contrast against traditional greenery. This evergreen perennial is a versatile choice, serving as an excellent border plant or ground cover along pathways. For container planting, opt for premium potting mix. Purple Fusion Scaevola is a wondrous, low-growing, wide-spreading native with masses of tiny purple-lilac flowers. The ground cover will bloom for the whole year unless a heavy frost occurs, with its heaviest flowering period in September-December. This variety does not mound so less cutting back is required. Purple Fusion is ideal in courtyards, landscapes, rockeries or cottage gardens.

An attractive, evergreen shrub Hardenbergia Regent brings colour to the garden for months. It bears masses of blue-purple pea flowers in late winter to spring. During the warmer months, the dark green leathery foliage is a nice contrast in the garden. Mass planted, it will create a dense covering, or Regent can be cultivated into a low hedge. For compact growth prune regularly after flowering.

Myoporum parvifolium Broad Leaf White is a native, low-maintenance groundcover with glossy green leaves that effectively suppresses weeds. This prostrate shrub features small, lightly honey-scented, waxy white flowers along its stems in spring and summer. Fast-growing and low-maintenance, myoporum is well-suited for bank stabilization, fire retardant, and coastal areas.

Scaevola White is a pretty Australian native ground cover with lush green foliage. In spring, summer and autumn, masses of clear white, fan-shaped flowers cover the foliage bringing a splash of bright colour. It has a strong, spreading growth habit, making it perfect for groundcovers, cascading plants, hanging baskets, and even small borders. This quick-flowering variety has strong mat-forming foliage that is great for weed suppression and erosion control.

Myoporum parvifolium Fine Leaf is a dense, prostrate Australian native ground cover valued for its soft, fine green foliage and spreading habit. It forms a lush carpet that hugs the ground, making it ideal for covering large areas with minimal maintenance. From late spring through to early autumn, the plant is dotted with masses of tiny, starry flowers that sit just above the foliage, adding a delicate seasonal display while still maintaining its tidy appearance. Perfect for spilling over embankments, cascading across retaining walls, or filling difficult-to-access areas, Fine Leaf is excellent for suppressing weeds and stabilising soil. Its hardy nature makes it well suited to dry gardens, coastal sites and low-maintenance landscapes. Prune lightly once a year to encourage fresh, dense growth and to maintain shape. Feed annually with a controlled-release native fertiliser to keep plants healthy and flowering well.
