The Napoleon Cherry is a vigorous deciduous fruit tree prized for its attractive fruit and reliable cropping. A small cocktail pear, the fruit of Baby Face Pear is green in colour with an attractive blush, and very sweet flesh. The branches are covered with beautiful blossoms during spring, followed by glossy leaves in summer. A water-watering abundance of juicy sweet fruit appears in mid-February through March. Pear trees are one of the easiest fruit trees to grow in either your backyard, orchard or in a pot. They can be trained for espaliering across a wall trellis. Always plant more than one variety for cross-pollination.
