Citrus japonica Kumquat Variegata Grafted is a stunning tree with gorgeous bi-coloured foliage and fruit that change from striped green to bright yellow as they ripen. It is an ideal patio citrus with great foliage, habit and fruit with a beautiful combination of sweet and bitter. The rind is smooth and sweet - eat the fruit whole or use in preserves, marmalades and liquors. Citrus are well suited to pot culture and it is recommended to use quality potting mix. Fertilise monthly with a complete, slow-release, pelleted fertiliser all year round.

Soil: Prefers a site with good drainage and moderate moisture through the warmer months.
Conditions: Suits a prominently sunny position. Shelter from strong winds. They prefer a frost-free environment although it will tolerate light frost once established.
