White summer flowers are followed by edible fruit. A great feature, screen, hedge or topiary plant that can be grown in large pots. Big Red responds very well to pruning making it an excellent plant for hedging and screening in residential situations. Mulch well to keep down weeds and conserve soil moisture.
Soil: Most well-drained soils.
Conditions: Full sun to partial shade. Drought and coastal hardy.
