Ptilotus drummondii Magenta

Ptilotus Magenta, also known as Narrow Leaved Mulla Mulla, is a gorgeous Australian native with plenty of personality! Its attractive blue-green foliage is topped with distinctive dark pink to purple flower spikes that gradually fade to soft grey as they age, providing a long-lasting display from autumn through spring. Flowering from April to November, the blooms are also lovely for cut flower arrangements. Ptilotus Magenta is perfect for pots, rockeries and hot, dry spots in the garden, provided it has excellent drainage. A fabulous little native for adding colour, texture and a touch of Aussie character to your garden!

Soil: Well-drained sandy soil.
Conditions: Full sun. They are heat, coastal and drought tolerant plants that can also withstand light frost when established.
