Psidium littorale Yellow Strawberry Guava

Psidium Yellow Strawberry Guava is a dense, evergreen shrub or small tree that combines ornamental appeal with delicious homegrown fruit. Throughout summer and autumn, the tree is covered in masses of delicate white flowers, followed by oval-shaped golden-yellow fruit that ripens from late autumn into winter. The sweet, aromatic fruit has a delightful strawberry-like flavour and is slightly milder and sweeter than the red-fruiting varieties. Enjoy them fresh by cutting the fruit in half and scooping out the juicy pulp and edible seeds, or simply bite through the thin skin and savour the luscious flesh. The fruit is also excellent for making juices, syrups, jams and desserts. Easy to grow and highly productive, Yellow Strawberry Guava is a versatile addition to the home garden.
