Poa sieberiana

Poa sieberiana, or Snow Grass, is a grey-green tussock grass-like perennial with a lovely rounded habit and fine leaf blades. Snow Grass is very hardy with flower spikelets of pale green/purple appearing in spring and throughout summer. Snow Grass is ideal for erosion control, bushland gardens, restricted native plantings, and garden borders. Pruning is the only real maintenance task required. Old clumps can be pruned back in late winter to spring to promote good new growth.

Soil: Adaptable to most soil types.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Drought, frost and coastal tolerant.
