Nepenthes Pitcher Plant

An extraordinary addition to any plant collection, the Pitcher Plant is a fascinating carnivorous species that naturally captures and digests insects for nourishment. Maintain high humidity — mist regularly, or place in a well-lit bathroom or greenhouse. To keep your plant happy, add a small amount of water to each pitcher to maintain moisture, and feed sparingly using a very dilute (10%) orchid fertilizer twice monthly during the growing season. Never feed meat or cheese — this will harm the traps.
