Nandina domestica Gulf Stream

Nandina domestica Gulf Stream is a compact, bamboo-like shrub with erect branching and attractive fern-like foliage. New growth emerges a bronze-orange colour in spring turning green with age but often retaining a red-orange flush. In autumn and winter, the foliage turns shades of red and gold adding drama to the garden. Gulf Stream is an excellent choice for border plantings, rockeries, in courtyards or on balconies. Minimal maintenance is required and prune only to shape at any time of the year.

Conditions: Full sun to part shade.Light frost, coastal and dry spell tolerant.
