Mazus pumilio

Mazus pumilio, commonly known as Blue Swamp Mazus, is a hardy evergreen ground cover native to wetland areas. This low-growing, mat-forming plant thrives in waterlogged soils, making it perfect for damp garden spots or as a ground cover around ponds. The plant features dense rosettes of green foliage that spread by rhizomes, creating a lush carpet. In spring and summer, delicate purple-blue flowers blanket the plant, offering a soft burst of color.
