Kniphofia Rocket Jnr has been specifically bred with short grassy leaves and a tight, compact habit. The nectar-rich flowers are vibrant orange-red with yellow lower halves, and produced in abundance through-out summer and through autumn. The clumping grassy-leaved South African perennial is a great addition to the garden and is perfect for containers, in garden beds, rock gardens, dry river beds, borders, mass plantings and pots.
Deadhead old flowers to encourage new ones to form; water weekly during flowering period. In spring, cut the foliage back to about a hand's length from the soil to encourage new growth
