Hydrangea macrophylla Miss Saori is a magnificent dwarf hydrangea producing mounds of densely packed flower heads. Miss Saori produces fabulous, double-petalled, white flowers with rosy-red edging. This gives the large (12-15cm wide) rounded flower heads a delicate, watercolour-like appearance. Unlike other big-leaf hydrangeas, this variety will retain its rosy-red edging regardless of soil pH. To ensure reblooming after flowering, remove spent flower heads, prune the plant as desired, and fertilise with a slow-release fertiliser in spring.
Soil: Well-drained soil - keep moist in summer.
Conditions: Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade, however, they do not do well in heavy shade. It is frost-tender and needs regular watering during dry periods.
