Nectar-rich toothbrush flowers of deep purple-red appear throughout the year, surrounded by finely-cut ferny-lacy leaves, displaying a bronze-red hue when new. Water regularly during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established. Prune after flowering to promote dense growth and control size. Every 3-4 years, a hard prune will encourage a fresh flush of flowers and foliage. Feed with a slow-release native fertilizer when buds form, ensuring the phosphorus (P) ratio is under 3%, as grevilleas can be sensitive to phosphorus.
