Also known as Brazilian Cherry, it produces clusters of glossy purplish-black fruit with soft, sweet white flesh that practically melts in your mouth. The fruit is delicious eaten fresh and is also highly prized for making jams, jellies and pies. Once established, Grumichama can crop multiple times throughout the year, making it a particularly rewarding addition to the home orchard.
