Eremophila Desert Passion Emu Bush is a compact, hardy Australian native shrub that produces a spectacular display of colour. Attractive orange-cream buds open to vibrant candy-pink to purple-red, tubular flowers with fine white hairs, flowering from late autumn through to the end of summer. Its dense, compact habit makes Desert Passion an excellent choice for low hedging, borders, feature planting or filling hot, dry areas of the garden. The abundant flowers are highly attractive to nectar-loving native birds, bees and other pollinators, making it a wonderful addition to a wildlife-friendly garden. A light prune after flowering will help maintain its compact shape, encourage fresh new growth and promote more prolific flowering the following season.
