Melaleuca leucadendra Fine Leaf

Melaleuca leucadendron Fine Leaf, commonly known as Weeping Paperbark, is an elegant evergreen tree native to Australia and Southeast Asia. It has a graceful weeping growth habit with fine, delicate foliage that creates a soft, flowing appearance in the landscape. The slender leaves are a vibrant green with a slight gloss, adding a fresh, light texture to the garden. One of its most distinctive features is its beautiful white papery bark, which peels away in thin layers to reveal smooth, creamy white bark beneath — a characteristic typical of many paperbark trees. During summer, the tree produces clusters of small cream-coloured flowers at the ends of its branches. These blooms are pleasantly fragrant and attract bees and other pollinators, bringing life and movement into the garden. In the landscape, Fine Leaf Weeping Paperbark is a versatile tree. It can be planted as a feature specimen, or grown in groups to form an effective screen or windbreak.
