Telopea Digger is a moderately vigorous variety of the iconic Australian Waratah, known for its brilliant salmon-pink blooms from late winter through spring. The vibrant green, narrow foliage complements the bold flowers, which have a good form and are bird-attracting. Digger has a slender growth habit, making it ideal for containers, hedging or as a feature specimen in gardens or native-friendly landscapes. The beautiful flowers are very popular in floral arrangements due to their straight long stems and the uniformity of their flower heads. Cultivated waratahs require heavy pruning once established - it is recommended to cut them back after flowering.
