Spyridium scortechinii (syn. Stenanthemum), or Cotton Bush, makes a fabulous feature shrub in rockeries with its rust-coloured buds that give way to a mass display of white flowers right through the winter months. Cotton Bush will remain dense and compact if you tip prune the bush after flowering. The flowers attract native bees, butterflies, and small birds and will light up your garden in the cooler months.
