Spiraea japonica Goldflame is a small, mound-shaped, deciduous shrub with clumping branches that bear lance-shaped leaves with serrated margins. The foliage emerges bronze-red in spring, maturing to bright yellow and finally green. From mid-summer, clusters of dark pink flowers appear, contrasting the glowing foliage. Compact and easy to grow, Goldflame makes a fantastic low hedge.
