Santolina chamaecyparissus, or Cotton Lavender, is an outstanding Mediterranean herb with tiny, soft, and fragrant silver foliage that covers itself with hundreds of deep yellow button-shaped flowers in summer. The dainty, button-like yellow flowers are produced on long stalks in summer and create a spectacular display, especially when planted en masse. Great for borders, edging and pots with the added attraction of waving gently in the breeze.
