Robinia pseudoacacia Casque Rouge

Robinia Casque Rouge is a spectacular tree, widely grown for its delicate and perfumed blooms. Dark green, bronze-tipped foliage provides a strong contrasting backdrop to the abundant, crimson-purple flowers. The strong-growing, large-leafed tree will look spectacular as a feature tree or as a welcoming entrance along driveways. A feed of potassium in early autumn will enrich the colour and increase the size of the flowers.

Soil: Tolerant of a wide range of soils. Wet soils can be tolerated for a short period.
Conditions: Full sun or part shade. Frost, air pollution and coastal tolerant.
