Prunus subhirtella pendula, or Weeping Pink Cherry, is one of the most graceful and beautiful of all the weeping cherries. It is a deciduous, small tree with long, graceful, weeping branches and rosy/pink buds that open to pale pink, bell-shaped, single flowers. It has dark green, pointed leaves that fade to yellow/orange before dropping in autumn. Very popular as feature tree in small gardens, group plantings and in Japanese inspired landscapes.
