Poa poiformis, or Coastal Tussock Grass, is a dense, tufting native perennial with blue-grey foliage. Green-purple clustered spikelets of inflorescences appear in spring and summer. This southern state's variety is hardy and excellent for soil stabilising and erosion control, revegetation and naturalising projects. The native grass attracts birds and butterflies, creates a haven for reptiles and birds, and is low maintenance once established.
